Scrapping The Music, Blue Skies by Willie Nelson
Here is my submission for nesxt challenge:
This is the only picture of have of Shawn and I. We have known each other since 2nd grade but spent 18 years out of touch after school. We just went to our 20th high school reunion together. And, we pretty much shocked everyone. LOL! I love the lyrics to this song and found it very suiting to our relationship. Here is what I used:
Stampin Up punches, markers, ink & ribbon
Odds & Ends paper by Cosmo Cricut
Versamark
Cuttlebug and embossing folders
file & scissors to distress
Wish me luck! I had a great time creating this layout.

Teachers Gifts and Matching Cards
I love Makenna's teachers and wanted to create something for them that they could cherish forever. One of my all time favorite paper projects to give as a gift is the Explosion Box Album. Although it is not my favorite to make, when it is done, it looks so awesome. I used the school paper by BoBunny to create the projects ad their matching cards. For directions, please leave a comment. I will email them to you. Happy Sunday!

Scrap That Poetry Challenge #40
Here is my submission for my sister-in-laws Scrap that Poetry Blog. I used the pictures of my kids with the animals from The Center for Animal Health and Welfare (and one of our dog). I love that my children share in my passion for animals. It is one of the many things we love to do together to make a difference in the world.
I Love To Be a Mother
Some houses try to hide the fact
that children shelter there.
Ours boasts of it quite openly,
the signs are everywhere.
For smears are on the windows,
little smudges on the doors,
I should apologize, I guess,
for toys strewn on the floor.
But I sat down with the children
and we played and laughed and read;
And if the doorbell doesn't shine,
their eyes will shine instead.
For when at times I'm forced to choose
the one job or the other;
I like to be a housewife but
I love to be a mother.
